Behold, another game that's free to download *and* play, and is freaking FUN!

Brought to you by the fellows that originally created the Defense of the Ancients maps for Warcraft 3 (DOTA), including a couple guys that worked on Warcraft 3 with Blizzard. The group pretty much said "It's fun making these custom maps for War 3 and all, but people keep fucking with our shit...let's just make our own damn game!"

So they made League of Legends, created a 5v5 map, made it free to get, and slapped in about 20 original champions. You gain exp for your profile as you play, and can level up to access more "summoner spells" (pick 2 per game) and open up glyph slots to add small, passive bonuses to your champion. Also, you gain "influence points" that can be used to purchase champions for permanent usage (they have a rotation of free champs).

I can ramble on, but it's freaking early, I need a shower, and then a bit of sleep. My summoner name is Treesunder (go figure), toss an friend invite at me if you pick it up, ask questions here, ect. Favorite chars are currently Twisted Fate, Tristana, and Dr. Mundo.

LoL is pretty fun really, even for those that don't have the EXP with dota maps. The amount of characters you can choose from is nice there all different and fun to play with. My toon of choice is Annie the Dark Child. >:3 But there is nothing funnier seeing Annie with the Little Red Riding Hood skin with Warwick in his "Big bad wolf" skin. XD
