Monday, 08 March 2010 17:57
In case you haven't seen the latest news update on the Steam homepage, the great folks who run that service are highlighting two studios that are actually now under one roof; Square Enix and Eidos Interactive. There will be deals on other Square Enix and Eidos games all week, but as for today (Monday the 8th) save up to 66% on Deus Ex and Hitman titles. For example, the Hitman collection that includes Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman Blood Money was $19.99, now $7.99. Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition normally $9.99, now $4.99. Good deals for fairly good games.
Nintendo Drops Huge News on Their Two Biggest Titles
Wednesday, 24 February 2010 00:06
This week could be big for Nintendo news as the big N will be holding media conferences around the world all week. Yesterday marked the start of the events and they started with a bang. In an article on Kotaku, it was announced that Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be seeing release sometime in the middle of 2010, meaning most likely the summer. Exact details should be coming from the North American conference on Feb. 24. It was also announced that the black Wii will go on sale in Australia on March 11 and the Dsi XL will be released April 15.
I don't know... I am judging before it has even come out but I already miss David Tennent. Matt Smith just has a weird... everything. Face, voice, demeanor. You name it and we think it is weird. But we'll reserve calling this Doctor a complete wash until we have a few episodes under our belt.
Just a quick note that you can now access the new #17 of Bombed-Out Radio and #128 of The Video Games Show either through their respective websites or on iTunes... unless you have a Zune then you can use the Zune network. I am always amazed by how many people download our shows onto a zune. Seriously. We have the ability to check that. Oh, and 2 of you are still using Windows XP with no service pack updates. You might want to get on that and update a little bit. Anyways, hope you enjoy the shows!
Time to break out your hard cover copies of the Illiad and the Odessy, or watch Hercules, or something that has anything to do with Greek mythology. It has been mad official buy Sony that the first installment of the God of War franchise made for the PlayStation 3 will hit stores on March 16. There will also be a new trailer shown at the Spike VGAs…if you really want to see it that bad. Just use youtube.
